Week 03 — Research

October 05, 2018

I have created a survey on Typeform in order to get infromation from designers or design students. As I did initial research looking at The Design Council's research into gender equality in design I didn't feel like I needed much further evidence that there was a gender gap in the design industry, especially in more senior positions. Because of this, I decided to focus most of my questions on the personal experiences of people working in design.

Week 02 — Merch!

October 03, 2018

Week two started off on Monday with a group discussion about our project ideas. The feedback I received about my first idea, the book for encouraging future female designers to make the leap between education and work, was positive and made me feel more enthusiastic about pursuing it as my final idea.

Week 01 — Three Major Ideas.

September 26, 2018

This is just a little blog to show where I am going in my final—year journey, but also to remind myself where I have already been. Maybe some future IxDBelfast students will find it useful too.
